Meeting with the 4 Knights of Unknown Origin, they seemed to have come to arrest Seonia, Lauxe, Kannon, and Athkin, with the last proving quite hard given the circumstances. They settled for the 3, after much negotiation, and returned to Morbirgan to prepare for the long trip. Feeling the need to alert Ricel of thier departure, they visit the eccentric gnome, who was in an argument with his assisstant. After exploding at him, he fires his assisstant, who in a desire to leave Morbirgan, asks the party to allow them to accompany them, in spite of them being wanted ciminals by two very powerful nations. He called himself Rad'Ess, and he accompanied the party and Styles, the captain of the Knights who took them into custody. After a day or so or travel, they noticed a battle in the distance, and with Styles turning a blind eye, they rushed to assist. The Former Sgt. Stevens and Lt. Gerome, the people who invaded Quanor and started the whole war in the first place, were now being persued by thier countrymen with extreme prejudice. Acting quickly, they turned the tide of the battle, rescuing Stevens and Gerome from certain death. With Stevens and Gerome now accompanying them, the group continued east. Soon arriving in the desert, it became clear that these Knights were Knights of Aridia, the desert kingdom of the east. They soon arrived at Castle Aridia, and were half heartedly thrown in a cell to await thier trial. Already there, much to thier surprise, has a haggardly, and arguably insane Victar, who was looped into the sentencing with Seo and company. The trial soon came, with a seemingly disentereted Queen presiding. After Zal and Rad attempting to plead on thier behalf, the Queen issues an unwelcome verdict of death, for Seonia, Kannon, Lauxe, and Victar. After continued pleading, and seemingly a private talk between Zal and the Queen, The accused were led off apparently to thier deaths- but were instead locked inside a dark cellar for 4 hours, and then released by a simple guard, with a brief explanation from Zal.
