With the battle in swing, They clased with the elementals and Rician. Despite thier best efforts to subdue him, Rician went to dust, to the dismay of the party. With the objective failed, and with minimal casualties, they returned to Aridia. With that plan to acquire valuable information failed, they again turned to Victar. Apparently an old book on Arcana was lost to an abandoned Aridian Fortress to the north. With limited options, the party headed north, and soon found the abandoned fortress infested with Orcs, and soon were struck with thier first casualty, as Guy fell to the assault of the gate orcs.
