They returned to Aridia, gaining the knowledge of the location of the seal. Now it was time to find out how exactly to restore it. With some divinations, they found that seemingly Debelge and Rician, the 2 Mages whose staves they possess, dwell on thier own private subplanes, titled after thier schools of choice. As they begin to set out to begin to restore the seal. However, a pack of mercenaries from Kasios, a nation known for it's love of profit, came knocking on Aridia's door. The leaders of this mercenary army were well versed in the study of thier bounty, and wreaked havoc upon them. They eventully killed 3 of them, sent 1 fleeing, and created a nice new lawn ornament for Aridia with the other. Despite the victory, Illandro, Rad'Ess, and Styles, the captain of the Aridian Guard fell in the melee. Styles was quickly restored, but Rad'Ess and Illandro were still meeting the reaper.
