Arriving in a downpour in the horrible disgusting town with a serious crime problem, finding one girl in this mess wasn't going to be easy. Arriving at the local unfriendly tavern, they soon found some supposed fruit vendors who were eager to assist them. Thier assistance was promptly foiled with a mace to the face, and they took custody of one of them.
In a dilapedated inn room, they interrogated the one man, learning of an incompetent socially inept Wizard called Norb, who according to the one thief, was flaunting some eye candy, yet the others in the bar claimed she was nothing but an old hag.
Finding Norbs place, at first, he seemed to be living with his mother. But some flaws in Norbs' design reveal that his mother was nothing as such, as the inept wizard attempted to incapacitate the party to get away with his new girlfriend. He failed, as he was left unconcious with the party hauling his temporary girlfriend back to Kasios.
